The general theme of our research at the Therapeutics Research Unit, is the investigation of pharmacological strategies that may improve quality of life and other patient outcomes. The Director of this Unit, Professor Michael Roberts, is an Australian National Health & Medical Research Council Senior Principal Research Fellow based at the School of Medicine at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia. His research interests are in experimental and clinical therapeutics and in pharmaceutical science.
Our work has been at all levels of therapeutic research, namely: drug design, drug delivery, pharmacokinetics, toxicology and quality use of medicines and natural products for a range of diseases and for patients in institutions and at home.
