	Profile

The Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI) mission is to significantly improve the productivity, competitiveness and sustainability of tropical and subtropical food, fibre and agri-business industries. QAAFI will be an internationally recognised agriculture and food research institute providing excellence in research and development.

QAAFI incorporates three centres – The Centre for Plant Science, The Centre for Animal Science and the Centre for Nutrition and Food Sciences. Each centre operates as an independent entity within UQ, and as part of the bigger coordinated effort known as QAAFI.
