The School of Pharmacy research areas include pharmacology and toxicology, pharmacokinetics in adults and children, drug delivery and web and computer based systems for information and clinical trials.

Research programs are well-developed across a wide range of areas, including:

  • Molecular toxicology/pharmacology
  • Peptide drug delivery
  • Optimisation of rural healthcare delivery systems
  • Paediatric pharmacokinetics
  • Computer-based clinical trials
  • Web-based drug information

Collectively, these are grouped as three research strengths:
  • Therapeutic Targeting Group
  • Quality Use of Medicines
  • Modelling and Simulation
