Pharmacokinetic Studies including Intensive Care PAH & RBWH  
 Profile

The Pharmacokinetic Studies including Intensive Care PAH & RBWH Group is a subunit of the Therapeutic Research Unit (TRU).

The research interests of the Pharmacokinetic Studies Group include:

  • Metabolism: how the liver breaks down drugs

  • Cirrhosis: characterising changes in drug metabolism & how drugs can be used to treat cirrhosis

  • Ischaemia and reperfusion: effects of stopped and restarted blood flow in liver

  • Transplant: models & novel treatments

  • Liver Cancer: models & novel treatments
