Paediatrics and Child Health promotes research in health and illness in childhood. The Division of Paediatrics and Child Health has a presence in the two Children’s Hospitals in Brisbane, The Royal Children’s and the Mater Children’s Hospitals, and in regional hospitals in Toowoomba, Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Redlands, Ipswich, Hervey Bay, Redcliffe, Caboolture, and Brunei.
The Division works closely with the Children’s Nutrition Centre at the Royal Children’s Hospital and the longitudinal study of children at the Mater Hospitals.
Members of Paediatrics and Child Health are actively involved in research in the following areas:
