The Ecology Centre is a multidisciplinary research centre in pure and applied ecology. We are committed to promoting excellence in pure and applied ecology with a special emphasis on spatial and quantitative ecology and interdisciplinary research. The Centre has four broad programs at present with many researchers and projects in more than one program:
- Behavioural Ecology
- Conservation Biology (formerly the Centre for Conservation Biology)
- Landscape Ecology
- Mathematical Ecology
The Centre is a faculty centre, located within the Faculty of Science, with strong links to the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology.
