Drug ADMET (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Elimination, Toxicology) Group  
 Profile

The Drug ADMET group is a subsection of the Therapeutic Research Unit (TRU).


Research interests for the Drug ADMET group include:

  • Interrelationship of chemical structure of compounds with their ADMET properties

  • In silico, in vitro & in vivo evaluation strategies

  • pH-modulating drugs as novel therapies for neuroprotection in hypoxia/ischemia in the newborn

  • Strategies to manage paraquat poisoning in Sri Lanka
