Civil Engineering at UQ has a long history of high-quality research concerned with the planning and construction of the environment in which we live.

Environmental engineering research at UQ is applying engineering principles to develop effective solutions to environmental quality problems.

Collaboration between the School and industry is important for the advancement of engineering teaching and research and for a sustainable future. Links between industry, academic staff and students ensure:

  • Research is conducted that will progress new opportunities and solve industrial, social and environmental problems
