Focusing on the cultures and environments of Indigenous peoples The Aboriginal Environments Research Centre (AERC) is a multidisciplinary centre for research and teaching into the culture, environment and architecture of Australian Indigenous peoples. Its staff and postgraduate students also work on numerous consulting projects for government and non-government agencies and organisations. The Centre maintains a substantial collection of research material, including literature, images and sound recordings. The work undertaken here is nationally recognised as significant and helps support a stimulating research culture, which any student, researcher or other interested party is welcome to enquire about.

- Indigenous Architecture - housing, institutional and public buildings
- Indigenous Environments
