Lecturer in Political Science Background:
In addition to academic appointments at the University of Queensland, Di Zetlin has worked in a variety of professional jobs, including the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation, and has been the General Secretary of the trade union representing academic staff. Ms Zetlin has served on a variety of government advisory bodies, particularly in relation to Universities and has been involved in consultancy projects for both Commonwealth and State governments.
Research Interests:
- Conflict resolution - theory and techniques of conflict resolution (particularly as applied to either industrial or international relations).
- Political theory (particularly in relation to citizenship, justice or feminism).
- Industrial relations (particularly in relation to conflict resolution, work and family, women's employment issues).
