Dongming's interests include research knowledge management, eLearning effectiveness, financial monitoring management systems, electronic commerce, and intelligent agent business applications. Dongming Xu is a lecturer in Business of Information Systems at the UQ Business School and has a PhD in the area of Information Systems from the City University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include knowledge management, virtual learning environments, electronic commerce and intelligent agent applications, such as multi-agent supported workflow management systems, financial management systems, models of virtual markets, and intelligent virtual learning environments. Her research usually combines theoretical model building, laboratory and field experiments and the development of prototype systems. She is currently working on the design of adaptive virtual learning environments, the integration of knowledge management for supporting eLearning effectiveness, knowledge management impacts on organizational performance etc.
