Reader in Political Science

Background:

Prior to joining the staff at UQ in 1988, Dr Ward was a lecturer at WIAE (now Deakin University). He is the author of numerous journal articles and book chapters and co-author of Politics One (with Randall Stewart).

Research Interests:

• Political communication, in politics and the media;
  
• Election campaigning and the increasingly sophisticated use of PR by governments;
  
• Parties and pressure groups;
  
• Australian politics;
  
• Organisation and changing nature of political parties.
