 Biography

Dr Alastair Tombs is conducting research into customer emotions and how they are influenced by other customers within a retail environment

Alastair 's research interests are in the areas of the service environment and its impact on consumer behaviour as well as the effects of emotional contagion on customer to customer interactions. To date Alastair's work has been published in Marketing Theory (considered the leading theory journal in marketing) and received "best paper" awards at both Australasian and European marketing conferences
