	Biography

Many diseases are due to secretory dysfunction. Perhaps the best known is type 2 diabetes but other diseases such as pancreatitis and cystic fibrosis are linked to secretory problems.Our laboratory focuses on quantitative imaging of the secretory process with the goal of understanding its regulation. This is essential to broaden our knowledge of this important process and is critical for the development of rational therapeutic strategies.
