	Biography

Research interests involving acupuncture effects on the brain, brain ageing, and MR imaging of heart disease.

I have been involved in medical imaging since my first professional qualification in 1974. I have also been continuously involved with the clinical practice of acupuncture since qualify to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1976. As recognition of this I was made a Fellow of Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association in 1997. To present knowledge I am the only practitioner of both acupuncture and medical imaging in Australia.
Currently I am a researcher concentrating in MR imaging of the brain and heart, with special interest in functional MRI in the evaluation of acupuncture effects on the central nervous system.
