Jenny was appointed Professor of Occupational Therapy in 1997. Her research has primarily focused upon the impact which chronic pain has upon a person's life; the attendant measurement of that pain, and the efficacy of different treatment approaches. A recent NH&MRC funded study, with Dr Libby Gibson & Dr Heather Podlich, has particularly looked at Functional Capacity Evaluation for back injured workers. Jenny also researches in a number of professional practice isues such as supervision. She is also a member of the OTseeker team.
