	Biography

Dr Peter Skinner’s research interests are in the history and development of construction systems and housing design.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Design Studies and Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) from The University of Queensland and in 1996 was awarded the Master of Architecture degree. He gained professional experience as an architect in the offices of Russell Hall and Addison Associates working predominantly on housing and timber framed buildings. He is a Registered Architect in Queensland and has taught design and construction at the Tasmanian State Institute of Technology.
