	Biography

Matthew Simpson's research includes collaborative virtual design, interaction design and studio-based design approaches.

His research in collaborative virtual design explores the nature of interaction in design (and in particular architectural) firms. Ongoing CRC projects include the exploration of locative experiences and location-based gaming as a means of interaction (and learning), with studio based design approaches explored in relation to teaching.
