	Biography

Co-ordinator of Health Major, B.Soc.Sc Program. Current interests: social inequality and risk in health and housing; welfare beyond the market-state; gender studies.

A lecturer in the School of Social Science, since 1998 and prior to that, a senior tutor/lecturer. Dr Short has held several research position in different schools and faculties within the University.
