	Biography

Dr Shini's research interests include: Animal physiology, immunology and therapeutics. Animal health, stress and welfare.

Her current research projects are looking at: Stress-induced behavioural and physiological changes in animals - implication for health and welfare.
Stress-induced immunosuppression in a chicken model.
Fatty Liver haemorrhagic syndrome in laying hens.
The use of probiotics as alternatives to antibiotics.
