 Biography

Dr Hamid Ronagh's main professional interests lie in the area of Structural Engineering, in particular, the analysis and design of composite steel-concrete structures.

Dr Ronagh received his PhD from the University of New South Wales in 1996. He has 16 years of design experience in a range of structural systems, such as high-rise and cable structures and has been lecturing in Structural Engineering since 1996.

His current research projects are in the fields of:

  • Investigating the effect of Fibre Reinforced Plastics (FRP) strengthening of Concrete Joints
  • Torsion strengthening of RC members using FRP
  • Concrete Coatings
