	Biography

Alastair's major research interests are in the areas of data integrity and deceptive behaviour in computer mediated communications. In the area of data integrity, he is currently undertaking collaborative research into effects of Bayesian reasoning and base rate information on data error estimation. In the deceptive behaviour in computer mediated communications area he is undertaking collaborative research that seeks to determine drivers of medium choice when individ

Alastair teaches IS related courses at Ipswich and St. Lucia campuses. Prior to appointment at The University of Queensland, Alastair worked extensively in the automotive industry. He is currently a Director of a Credit Union.
