Dr Anton Rayner, PhD, GCEd

 Biography

Dr Anton Rayner's research interests are in the fields of: Laser Refrigeration of Solids (Experimental realisation and analysis, Theoretical modelling) and Physics Education (Role of context in improving outcomes of physics service courses, Influence of assessment methods on student learning).

He received his PhD and GCEd from The University of Queensland in 2002. His chief research projects are in the areas of:

  • Role of context in improving understanding of physics
  • Influence of assessment method on student learning
