	Biography

Dr Guy Ramsay’s research interests include discourse analysis; intercultural communication; Indigenous-Chinese contacts; CALL and pedagogy of research supervision

His current research projects include:

• The Chinese community of Torres Strait
• The discursive voice of psychoeducation literature across the Chinese diaspora
• Computer-mediated communication and the multicultural classroom.

His other activities include:

• Keynote Speaker at the 8th Annual National Conference of the Chinese Language Teachers' Federation of Australia (CLTFA), Brisbane, 8-9 June 2002
• Coordinator of Chinese program
• School International Officer
