	Biography

Annie Pohlman's research interests include gender and genocide studies, gendered experiences of interrogation and state-perpetrated trauma, Indonesian women's life histories and testimonio.

Annie Pohlman's current thesis aims to trace the experiences of women former political prisoners during the 1965-66 Indonesian Killings and during interrogation whilst in detention under the New Order in Indonesia (1965-1998).
