Dr Thanh Xuan Nguyen    Postdoctoral Research Fellow

	Biography

My current research is focussing on reconstruction of microstructure of porous carbons as well as study of adsorption equilibrium and dynamics of simple gases in this carbonaceous material.

I got my bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering at University of Ho Chi Minh City in 1993. From 1993 to 2000 I have been working for Vietnam Petroleum Institute as chemical engineer. I came to Australia to study since 2001. I obtained my Master in Chemical Engineering Department at University of Queensland in july, 2002 and PhD degree in the same field in February, 2006. My PhD thesis is on Characterisation of porous carbons. From my PhD graduation to present, I am working with Professor Suresh K. Bhatia at Department of Chemical Engineering as Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
