Dr Salahudin (Salut) Muhidin    Postdoctoral Research Fellow

	Biography

The main focus of Dr. Muhidin current research has been to understand the structure of interregional population mobility in the context of Australia.

Dr. Muhidin joins the University of Queensland as a postdoctoral research fellow in February 2006. He received his PhD in Demography from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands in 2002. He has been working intensively on a research of population mobility in the context of Asian (Indonesia) with the Demographic Institute-University of Indonesia, Africa (Burkina Faso and Ghana) with the University of Montreal and Brown University, and recently Australia with the University of Queensland.
