Dr Monica Moran    Adjunct Senior Lecturer

	Biography

Teaching Focused Academic

Dr Moran is an IPE researcher and teaching focused academic. In her academic position at The University of Queensland, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, she has the primary responsibility for coordinating a masters program as well as chairing the interprofessional education committee. A founding member of the Australasian Interprofessional Practice and Education Network, Dr Moran is active internationally in several research teams including a WHO study group for interprofessional education and collaboration. This international group is tasked with informing WHO on the direction for interprofessional education in the health professions for the 21st century.

Dr Moran is the recipient of a UQ Teaching and Learning Fellowship and a UQ Teaching and Learning Strategic Large Grant for IPE related projects. In 2007, she was a co-recipient of a UQ Teaching and Learning Award for the Enhancement of Student Learning.
