	Biography

Associate Professor John Minnery’s research interests are in urban planning policy, planning theory, planning history, housing and planning practice.

He completed a geography degree in New Zealand, then worked in private town planning practice in Africa before moving to Australia. He has worked with a number of university research groups, including the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute, the Centre for Urban and Rural Research and the Human Settlement Research Centre.
