	Biography

The common research theme in my laboratory is the role of metals and oxidation-reduction processes in biocatalysis, regulation of gene expression, bacterial pathogenicity and in biotechnology.

The microorganisms that we study include purple phototrophic bacteria, thermophilic archaea and bacterial pathogens.
