PhD, Honours  Rainforest restoration for biodiversity conservation and the carbon market
A large scale tropical reforestation experiment aimed at determining which reforestation techniques maximize the recovery of native biodiversity and which allow for profits to be earned on the Carbon market.

Atherton tablelands
Representative landscape on the Atherton tablelands, North Queensland. This is the type of landscape I work in to study rain forest reforestation.
Keywords:  Rainforest conservation, biodiversity, carbon markets, ecological economics

PhD, Masters  Ecology, conservation and management of the endangered plant Trioncinia retroflexa
This project includes three components: 1) the study of the life history of a native endangered plant species, 2) a restoration experiment designed to determine the best way to establish new populations of endangered plants, 3) Analysis of dispersal and gene flow between remnant populations of this endangered species

PhD, honours  Climate change impacts on SW Australia's annual plant flora
Development of predictive models of plant species responses to climate change. Topics involved in project include: life history and germination strategies, population dynamics of native plants, population genetics and functional trait ecology
