	Biography

Our group's research is focused on advancing basic knowledge of how the hormone, insulin, is made in the pancreas and released into the bloodstream following consumption of a carbohydrate meal, to maintain/regulate blood glucose and whole body metabolism at normal, healthy levels.

Dr Brad Marsh is Group Leader for Beta Cell Structural Biology/Cellular Tomography research at the IMB.
