Mr Eduardo Marks De Marques

	Biography

Mr Marks de Marques is a Brazilian PhD candidate at the School of EMSAH doing research on the interconnections between Australian metafictional historiography and the Australian Bicentennial.

He holds a BA (Honours) in English and Portuguese Languages and Literatures and a BEd (Primary and Secondary, TESOL) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and an MA in Literary and Cultural Theory and Criticism from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil.

One of his future plans is to establish international cooperation networks between Australian and South American universities for the development of comparative cultural studies between these countries.
