	Biography

Professor Peter Lindsay's research interests are in Systems Engineering and Software Engineering: Software-intensive systems, Safety-critical systems, Complex systems, Hazard & risk analysis for computer-based systems, Formal methods, Human-computer interaction (HCI) and Configuration & change management.

He received his PhD in mathematical logic from the University of Illinois in 1984. In 2002 he was appointed Boeing Professor of Systems Engineering at UQ. He was Director of the ARC Centre for Complex Systems (www.accs.edu.au) 2004-2009.
