	Biography

Rodel Leano is a Research Officer with the Cardiac Imaging Group.

Rodel Leano is an expert echocardiographer with over 20 years experience in the non-invasive laboratory. Rodel has worked at several overseas institutions including Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, before joining the Cardiac Imaging Group under Professor Marwick. Rodel is expert in stress echocardiography. His current research interest is using tissue Doppler, integrated backscatter, and strain for tissue characterization. Also focusing on establishing normal range for 2D strain.
