	Biography

Dr Soon Kyeong Kim's research interests are: Software Engineering, Software Process, Requirements Engineering, Formal Methods, Object-Oriented Modelling Techniques (e.g. UML) and Semantics, Method Integration, Metamodeling, Model Transformation, Model-Driven Development Approaches (e.g. MDA), Modelling Interactive Systems and Web Application Modelling and Design.

She received her PhD from the University of Queensland in 2002. Her current research projects are in the fields of:
? Formalising Software Design Pattern Concepts and Pattern Specifications Using Metamodelling (ARC Discovery-project)
? Enhancing model-driven architecture with support for verification and validation (ARC Discovery-project)
? UML-based Metamodeling Approach towards Modeling Techniques Integration
? Model evolution based on design patterns
? An MDA approach towards integrating of formal and informal modeling techniques
