	Biography

Dr Michael Kearney's research interests are in constrained control and optimization, with a focus on their application to solve robotics and automation problems.

Dr Michael Kearney received his PhD from The University of Queensland in 2010. From 2010 to 2012 he was a Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Melbourne. In 2012 he returned to The University of Queensland as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering in the School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering.
