	Biography

Andrew Jones is Director of the Queensland Research Centre of the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI). AHURI is a national consortium of universities involved in research to inform Australian housing policy. Andrew Jones undertakes research in the areas of housing of older people and social housing policy.

Andrew Jones is Program Director, Social Webeing, health and housing in the Institute of Social Science Research and Director of the Queensland Research Centre of the Australian Housing and Urban Research Centre. He has been an academic at The University of Queensland since 1982 teaching in social policy, human services management and community planning.
