Associate Professor Richard Hutch is Associate Professor and Reader in Religion and Psychological Studies in the School of History, Philosophy, Religion and Classics. His research interests include psychology of religion, sport and spirituality, self-narrations and life-writing, and death and dying. His current research projects include:
• "Facing Peril at Sea: Single-Handed Sailors and Spiritual Insight" (book)
• "Sport, Spirituality and Productive Ageing: Scenarios of Health Management in Active Old Age"
Associate Professor Hutch is also the Director of Studies for the Faculty of Arts.
