	Biography

Assoc Prof Tony Howes's research interests are in water mixing and spray drying.

He received his PhD from the University of Cambridge in 1988. His current research projects are in the fields of:

• Imperfect mixing in waste water treatment bioreactors
• Flocculation of suspended sediment
• Prediction of stickiness during spray drying
