Miss Anna Hood    Associate Lecturer

	Biography

Service management (human resource management and organisational behaviour perspectives); hotel management competencies; generational differences in work attitudes, values and behaviours.

Anna recently joined the School of Tourism from a management career in the hotel industry and is undertaking her PhD in the area of service management, with a particular focus on internal service quality, employee attitudes and antecedent HR strategies in the international casino industry. Teaching specialisation is in the area of hospitality/hotel management. Currently working on a major research project that is investigating HR aspects of employing Generation Y in the hospitality industry. Since joining the School in August 2008, has published in the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
