Research interests: The syntax and semantics of nouns phrases. Quantification in Natural Language; Syntax Semantics mapping; Contact languages; Creoles; Determiner systems; Processes of language change; Grammaticalization

I have had careers in Libarianship, academic publishing, and I have recently submitted a PhD thesis on 'The Mauritian Creole Noun Phrase: its form and function'. My interests lie in teaching and researching in syntax and semantics.
