	Biography

Professor Gray is the Director of the Academic Unit in Geriatric Medicine.

Professor Gray is the Director of the Academic Unit in Geriatric Medicine. He has formal training in medicine and health administration. He took up the current position at the University of Queensland in 2002. Previously he held senior management positions in the public health system in Victoria, in general management and aged care services. He was the CEO of Bundoora Extended Care Centre from 1982 to 1997. His research interests focus on aged care policy, models of aged care service delivery, assessment and care planning systems, and in recent years, e-health and telemedicine strategies. His major collaborations are with the interRAI research collaboration and the Centre for Online Health at UQ.
