 Biography

Company Law, Corporate Law, Restitution, Unjust Enrichment

Professor Grantham's teaching and research interests are in the legal issues arising from the management and governance of companies and in the law of restitution. He has published widely in the area of the duties of directors and officers of companies, as well as on matters dealing with the nature and basis of corporate action and corporate personality. He has also published a number of papers in leading journals dealing with developments in the law of restitution, particularly the interface between restitution and the law of property.
Ross is the author of a number of monographs and casebooks, and he has edited a number of collections of essays. Ross is a member of the editorial board of The Company Lawyer and the Journal of Corporate Law Studies.
Ross holds the degrees of Bachelor of Civil Law from Oxford University, where he was at Lincoln College, and Master of Laws (Honours) from Auckland University.
