 Biography

Deanne Gannaway is the Head of the Evaluation Services Unit within TEDI. Her scholarship centres on evidence-based teaching practice and on quality assurance and enhancement of teaching and learning in higher education. She is is a Lecturer in Higher Education with the Higher Education Research and Consultancy team at TEDI,

Her scholarship centres on evidence-based teaching practice and on quality assurance and enhancement of teaching and learning in higher education. Her research interests focus on the use of historical/comparative and socio-cultural theories as means to investigate the curricula used in large generalist higher education programs. Her current activities include the development of evaluation plans and strategies for teachers, teaching innovations and program curricula; the evaluation of the success of ATLC-funded national projects; and the evaluation of the impact of the use of learning technologies, learning objects and learning spaces on student learning
