Dr Laurent Frossard is committed to apply his expertise in qualitative and quantitative research to the field of research in health delivery. Dr Laurent Frossard has been involved in health related research for the last 15 years.
He was appointed as Senior Research Fellow for the Centre for Health Innovation and Solutions in 2007. He also became the leader of the Research, Development and Evaluation section of the Centre in 2008.
Dr Laurent Frossard is committed to apply his expertise in qualitative and quantitative research to the field of research in health delivery.
Since 2000, Dr Laurent Frossard has been the leader of two large scale ARC-funded research projects focusing on the development of tools for evidence-based rehabilitation of lower limb amputees and for evidence-based training of athletes with disability.
Dr Laurent Frossard is internationally recognised for his work on the development of clinical tools for evidence-based practice. His research has been founded by a number of grants such as ARC Discovery and Linkage Projects. He is regularly invited to national and international conferences and publications.
From 2003 to 2006, he worked as Senior Researcher for the School of Engineering Systems - Institute of Health & Biomedical Innovation of the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia.
From 1999 to 2003, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the Centre for Rehabilitation Sciences and Engineering of Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia.
From 1996 to 1998, he was a Lecturer in Biomechanics at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education for the University of Orleans, France.
