 Biography

Teaching and Learning Coordinator

Stephanie Fox-Young’s research and education leadership has been developed over more than 30 years of experience in the Australian health care and education industries in Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory.
Stephanie has worked in professional regulation and in nurse education in the hospital and tertiary education sectors. She was Senior Lecturer and Head of the Bachelor of Nursing Program at Griffith University, Gold Coast in the early 1990s. She then moved to the Queensland Nursing Council, filling a number of roles there, the most recent being the Director of Research and Policy. Currently, Stephanie is employed part time with the University of Queensland School of Nursing and Midwifery. Stephanie is also currently the national President of the Royal College of Nursing Australia.
