	Biography

My current research interests include inherited genetic diseases (Copper Toxicosis in Bedlington terriers, Sudden Cardiac Death Syndrome in dogs and cats) and avian research (chemotherapy and male parrot reproduction).

I graduated from the University of Queensland, School of Veterinary Science in 1973 and have always had a strong interest in research and teaching. My current areas of undergraduate teaching include clinical examination, clinical practice medicine, nephrology and urology, fluid and electrolyte imbalances, antibacterial drug therapy, and avian medicine and surgery.
