 Biography

Research Fellow

Dr Hui Feng is a research fellow at the School of Political Scicence and International Studies at the University of Queensland. He holds an MA from Peking University (China) and PhD in IR from the University of Queensland.

Dr Feng's research interests are international political economy and comparative studies on China's economic transition.

Dr Feng's book on the politics of China's accession to the World Trade Organisation was published by Routledge in 2006. He has also published in prominent journals such as Political Studies and Review of International Political Economy. His forthcoming book, Financial Reforms in China (Palgrave), examines the major events and developments in the Chinese financial sector since the Asian Financial Crisis. His current ARC project is on the politics of China's central banking and monetary policy.
