Safe and appropriate use of medicines; consumer behaviour and health outcomes

Lynne Emmerton completed her BPharm and Honours degrees at The University of Queensland, undertook pre-registration training in a community pharmacy in Brisbane, and returned to commence PhD research. This was completed while employed at The University of Sydney. She was then employed as a Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand, for eight years. She returned to The University of Queensland as a Senior Lecturer in 2001.

Lynne's research interests fall broadly into the theme of Quality Use of Medicines, with a focus on professional community pharmacy practice, novel services, non-prescription medicines, and health consumer behaviour.
